Welcome to the Mental Health Revolution app.
We all want to improve our mental health, but how many of us have a comprehensive daily wellbeing program that is do-it-yourself, simple, free, and evidence-based?
That is what this app offers.
Whatever your current lifestyle and wherever you go, this app can accompany you as you build daily self-care habits.
Our practices draw on the Buddha's teachings, positive psychology, lifestyle medicine, qigong, pranayama, nutritional science, neuroscience, and research on the longest-living populations.
All of them are presented in simple, secular terms, and the learning experience is informed by behavioral science for increased effectiveness.
Simply put, this app offers a set of wellbeing practices that work, clearly structured.
It is self-love, made concrete.
My name is Paul Tarchichi.
Growing up, I learned nothing about wellbeing.
No teacher taught me how to take care of my emotions, how to breathe, or how to make friends.
As a teenager, my mental health broke down, and when I asked my psychiatrist, "How can I take better care of myself?" I still didn't get any answer.
So I promised myself that if I survived and found self-care practices that helped, I'd share them with others.
At nineteen I went to a Buddhist monastery to become a monk.
In my spare time I studied and experimented with over a hundred self-care modalities from different traditions.
Then I distilled the best of what I'd found into a simple program, which I began teaching at the monastery.
The participants' response was wonderful.
But within the confines of a religious community, it was hard for me to teach my own way.
So after sixteen years of monastic life, at age thirty-five, I returned to society to devote myself fully to contributing to a global Mental Health Revolution.
Tord Dellsén has a degree in computer science and engineering, and likes helping out on free/libre software projects that enhance wellbeing.
His interests include Buddhism, Nonviolent Communication, and peace.
You can find his other projects on his home page.
Pablo Tomeo has worked in backend software engineering since 2015, and is ordained in the Soto Zen tradition.
He plays jazz piano and dances tango.
He met Tord and Paul in separate contexts — software and meditation — and only later realized they were working together on this app.
He joined as a volunteer at Paul's request, and hopes this app can help you live a more content life.

Everything you enter — your settings, your goals, your wellness why, the practices you complete — is stored only on your device. Unlike many other apps, we cannot access your data, let alone sell it.
We do count how often pages are loaded, and we store that count on a server. The count is anonymous — it contains no personally identifiable information and tells us nothing about you as an individual.
You can delete everything the app has stored at any time by going to Settings → Geeky Stuff → Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app, or clearing your browser's storage for this site, also removes your data.
Your data stays on your device until you delete it.
There is nothing for us to retain, because we never receive it. For the same reason, we cannot recover it for you — once deleted, it is gone for good.
Are you sure?
